Redesigning the Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Tofu Industry in Ledok Kulon Village, Bojonegoro Regency

Abstract Currently, the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for tofu industry in Ledok Kulon Village, Bojonegoro Regency uses an anaerobic-aerobic-anaerobic system. However, treated quality is still over maximum standard. To rectify this, objective of study was to technically improve WWTP so that could comply with required standards disposal into environment. This achieved without increasing capacity by changing function each unit and modifying flow patterns Additionally, system altered from anaerobic-aerobic Consequently, redesigning calculations showed levels BOD, COD, TSS produced were 9.65 mg/L, 61.23 2.16 respectively, which met standards.
